My friend Kathy, over at The Cheap Gourmet, has asked me to help promote the launch of “Cooking for Colebear.”  The recipe booklet was written lovingly to help raise funds for Out of the Darkness Community Walks.  This project is in honor and celebration of one of Kathy’s dear family friends, Nicole “Colebear” Lundy.

“Cooking for Colebear” is a collection of thirteen of Nicole’s favorite recipes consisting of soups, casseroles, entrees, appetizers, and desserts. This recipe booklet is a ‘Thank You’ gift that will be given to anyone who makes a donation in any amount to Team Nicole via the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention “Out of the Darkness” website.

Also, The Cheap Gourmet is running a contest today for anyone that donates to the cause.  One person will be given a set of “The $5 Dinner Mom” cookbooks. The winner will be announced tomorrow.

Visit The Cheap Gourmet for more information on how to get your complimentary copy of “Cooking for Colebear” and to enter for your chance to win “The $5 Dinner Mom” cookbooks.
