Orlando Veg-Curious Dinner Event

Posted on November 23, 2010

I am excited to announce that Orlando’s Veg-Curious Dinner Event is going to be December 11 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm!

* Ever thought about going vegetarian/vegan but don’t know what you’d eat?

* Already eating a plant-based diet but looking for new meal ideas?

* Trying to convince your spouse or children that they wouldn’t starve or have to eat weird stuff as a vegetarian/vegan?

If any of these sound like you, then please join us for a night of delicious dishes.

Going veg does not mean giving up your favorite foods! Learn how to “veg out” your favorite dishes, and discover some new favorites along the way. We’ll be pulling out all the stops . . . think savory stuffed shells, pot pie, cinnamon rolls and decadent chocolate cake!

The best vegan cookbooks will be available for you to browse, and a certified health coach will be on hand to give the straight scoop about the health benefits of a plant-based diet.  Gardein is also donating coupons to be given away.

Best of all, we’ll eat, chat and have fun!

Hosted by: Vegan In the Kitchen, Motherhood University and Homeschooling in Heels

Cost: Donation only (to be split 50% to cover food costs and 50% to be donated to Food Not Bombs, an organization that provides vegan meals to the homeless)
